Role Description
This is a hybrid contract position for a Defence ICT Engineer or System Administrator based in Melbourne, VIC, with some flexibility for remote work. The role involves managing and supporting ICT systems, performing technical troubleshooting, and implementing secure and effective network designs. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability and security of systems in compliance with defence standards, requiring a current security clearance.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Information Technology, including system administration and configuring ICT environments
* Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to address and resolve system or network issues efficiently
* Proficiency in Network Design and implementation with a focus on scalable and secure solutions
* Strong knowledge of Network Security, including policies, protocols, and tools for safeguarding systems
* Existing or current security clearance (NV1 mandatory for this role)
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
