Among our group we have a Renewable Energy Professional multi-disciplinary Engineering, Procurement and Construction company, a Battery Commercialisation and Manufacturing entity, a Registered Research and Development service provider, and a Sustainable Living Property Development organization

About the role
Due to anticipated growth, the opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer is available for an immediate start. The position will have you working within the Admin Shared Services division and alongside an outstanding team of professionals to ensure all processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Accounts Payable processing and support
* Coding and entry of supplier and customer invoices
* Aid in the implementation of technology to gain efficiencies, and processes improvement.
* Raising of purchase orders
* Processing of online orders
* Liaising with suppliers regarding orders and delivery
* Liaising with internal staff in relation to purchasing and approvals
* Management of shared email inboxes
* Reconciliation of supplier accounts and queries' review
* Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts for Statutory Compliance
* Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts for Managerial Reporting
* Contribute ideas to the improvement and implementation of purchasing processes and receiving/inventory processes. A strong background in supply chain would be extremely advantageous for the right candidate.
* Promote and develop innovation and continuous improvement of functions and processes within the Accounts and Admin team, aiming at adding value to customers and the Company.

Candidates with the following will be viewed favourably
* Greater than five years' experience on Accounts Payable, AR or Payroll (last two seen as advantageous, but not essential)
* Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or working towards a Business Degree, majoring in Accounting
* Experience in working for organizations with multiple entities and cost centres.
* A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to think on your feet
* Adaptable enough to think inside and outside the box
* Able to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment, again, not two days are the same
* Demonstrated experience in computerized systems. We work within the Microsoft Ecosystem and familiarity with the vast array of software is a plus
* Experience working with medium/large ERPs, preferably Microsoft Business Central
* Excellent planning, organizational, and administrative skills with demonstrated effectiveness in developing solutions, systems, processes, and procedures within your scope of responsibilities to prioritize tasks and ensure achievement of goals and meet deadlines.
