The Role We’re seeking a hands-on Compliance & Safety Officer to ensure El Questro meets its safety, environmental and legislative obligations across our multi-site operation. This is a practical, on-the-ground role focused on maintaining compliance through audits, inspections, emergency preparedness and safety processes. Working closely with the General Manager and operational teams, you’ll ensure the systems and checks are in place so our people, guests and environment remain safe. You’ll also maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders including emergency services, local councils and environmental agencies. Responsibilities Conduct safety inspections, audits and compliance checks across the property Maintain emergency response procedures, drills and safety equipment Manage incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions Maintain accurate safety and compliance records Work with operational leaders to embed safe work practices Deliver staff safety inductions and ongoing training About You You’re a practical safety or compliance professional who enjoys being out in the field and ensuring standards are met in real operations. You will bring: Experience in a safety, compliance, risk or environmental role Strong knowledge of audits, inspections and incident management Ability to build relationships with teams and external stakeholders A proactive approach to risk and problem-solving Comfort working in a remote and dynamic environment Why Join Us?
