Job Description
Role Responsibilities:
* Manage survey projects to conclusion, ensuring MNG and client services are met to completion, including geospatial, engineering and infrastructure projects.
* Manage project deliverables by assisting with the coordination of field staff to undertake surveying duties for clients, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of information is provided to meet client expectations.
* Manageproject budgets and monitoring of financial performance of projects, actual costs vs. quote/budgeted costs.
* Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meeting changing needs and requirements of the client, ensuring client satisfaction and MNG goals are met.
* Build and maintain MNG's profile by attending industry and other functions for networking opportunities.
* Maintain, build and develop client relationships, connect with new business leads and ensure follow up on appointments are conducted.
* Contributes to the development of MNG strategic planning and budgetary forecasting.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement to reduce complexity to existing solutions and enable improved efficiency within the team and ensure client satisfaction.
* Provide input in the development and implementation of MNG's wider R&D strategy to provide advice and guidance on new technology, staying across industry trends and ensuring MNG's competitiveness in the market.
* Oversee subcontractors for various projects as required, ensuring Quality Management System compliance prior to project commencement.
* Facilitate and attend team and client meetings for progress project reviews.
* Facilitate and attend project startups and debriefs.
* Review deliverables prepared by team before presenting to the client.
* Provide instruction as to field work requirements, review works and outcomes.
* Conduct risk assessment on all safety matters in accordance with MNG and client requirements.
* Completeand adhereto all required safety and quality pre-starts, assessments and documentation in accordance with MNG policies and procedures.
* Takeresponsibility for workplace health and safety for self and others.
* Managethe team to align with best practice, to mitigate company risk, ensuring the health and wellbeing of self and others in accordance with MNG's Quality and HSE Management Systems.
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
* Previous experience within a similar role, or related industry.
* Minimum of ten (10) years technical proficiency and experience.
* Tertiary qualifications in Surveying, or a related discipline.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create effective working relationships and contribute to the team in a proactive and positive manner.
* Sound understanding of spatial and surveying processes, administration and management.
