What you'll do

* Apply advanced clinical reasoning, knowledge and principles to develop, implement and evaluate complex and interrelated pharmaceutical supply planning initiatives and projects to achieve Central Pharmacy's organisational goals.
* Communicate with influence and use inter-personal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to develop and cultivate effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a complex and changing environment.
* Monitor, analyse and report on digital health initiatives progress and implement best practice guidelines and processes, including service quality audits and leading improvement initiatives.
* Provide high level and timely advice on the resolution of emergent issues which may include the management of unexpected downtime and service disruptions to Central Pharmacy operations and reporting and critical pharmaceutical supply shortages.
* Increase organisational awareness and effectiveness by identifying operations and organisations with similar business and /or clinical objectives, and connecting stakeholders with common interests, both inside and external to Supply Chain Branch.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

* Demonstrated success in the establishment, management and maintenance of business partnerships with key clients.
* Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills, consultation and effective communication with personnel at all levels in the organisation, external organisations and professional groups in both the public and private sectors and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at sector and industry levels.
* Proven ability to work autonomously, utilise discretion, meet deadlines, and establish priorities and work effectively to successfully contribute to organisational objectives.
* Extensive experience in product and/or service sales in the pharmaceutical industry and an understanding of this industry.
* An in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical product supply chain in the Queensland public hospital sector especially within the current political context of federal government reforms and state government policy.
* High level of expertise in the areas of customer relationship management, developing new opportunities, service agreement negotiations and service marketing.
