Financial Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional financial leader to drive all aspects of financial management across our resort.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting requirements. They will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
This is a hands-on position suited to a detail-oriented finance professional with strong hotel experience, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to support and influence cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement financial strategy and operational performance initiatives
* Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for stakeholders
* Oversee payroll operations to ensure compliance and accuracy
* Provide financial guidance on key business matters, including Management Agreements and HMA compliance
* Drive improvements to financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
* Support department heads with financial data, reporting, and profitability analysis
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies, WH&S, and legislative requirements
Requirements:
* A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
* Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role, ideally within the hospitality industry
* Strong working knowledge of taxation, superannuation, long service leave entitlements, and the National Employment Standards
* Familiarity with accounting and payroll systems; proficiency in Zambion, PurchasePlus, and Sun is advantageous
