As part of Stockland's Retail Design team, this role offers the opportunity to lead design outcomes across various retail projects.
You will work closely with diverse teams to deliver high‐quality, future‐focused retail interiors that support our purpose and enhance customer experience.
Senior Interior Designer who brings strong creative leadership, commercial thinking and a passion for delivering standout retail environments.
You will play a key role in shaping the look, feel and experience of Stockland's retail destinations, working across major development and capital works projects.
What You'll Do
This is a full‐time, permanent role based in Sydney, within Stockland's Retail Design team.
In this role, you will:
* Apply market insight and future‐focused thinking to develop inspiring, holistic design solutions that provide the "wow factor" desired by both our stakeholders and our customers.
* Define vision, set design direction and produce high‐level concept presentations and detailed design packages that clearly communicate the approved concept.
* Provide considered design detail of all customer touchpoints, including joinery, furniture and FF&E specification, ensuring outcomes are relevant and fit‐for‐purpose
* Partner with project teams to support internal approvals and alignment of commercial outcomes, lead and uphold design intent throughout all project stages
* Manage and guide external consultants, reviewing documentation to ensure quality and brand standards
About You

Experience & Skills That Count
* Industry‐recognised Advanced Diploma/Degree qualification in Interior Design
* Minimum 7 years' experience in commercial and retail interior design, and/or hospitality design, ideally client or developer‐side
* Experience managing consultants and delivering design excellence across complex projects
* Clear, confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
