Role Description
This contract role for a Senior Geophysical Operator/Field Geophysicist is an on-site position based predominately on Greenfields and Brownfields sites in Australia. The individual in this role will be responsible for operating geophysical equipment, conducting field surveys, field level data QAQC and preparing comprehensive reports. Daily tasks will include coordinating with team members, ensuring data accuracy and quality and troubleshooting technical issues in the field.
Qualifications
Experience in operating and maintaining geophysical equipment; Magnetics, Induced Polarisation (IP)/Resistivity, Electromagnetics (EM), Gravity & Magnetotellurics (MT)
* Proficiency in conducting & managing ground geophysical surveys and acquiring geophysical data
* Strong analytical skills for interpreting geological data and generating accurate reports
* Knowledge of geophysical software and data processing techniques
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with other field personnel
* Relevant qualifications in geophysics, geology, or related fields
* Experience in exploration geophysics
