Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accountant – Tyre Retail Store
Location: Osborne Park, Perth WA 6017 (in-store)
Hours: 15–20 hours per week (school hours friendly)
Salary: $38 – $48 per hour + super, negotiable based on experience
We are a well-established tyre retail store in Osborne Park seeking a degree-qualified Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team on an ongoing part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to work during school hours (approximately 9:00am – 3:00pm), with flexibility across 2–3 weekdays.
About the Role
This is an in-store position combining bookkeeping, accounting, and general administrative duties. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day financial and office operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily bookkeeping and data entry
* Accounts payable and receivable
* Bank and account reconciliations
* Monthly Profit and Loss reporting
* Payroll processing and Payroll Tax lodgements
* Superannuation Guarantee payment submissions
* Maintaining fixed asset and depreciation registers
* BAS preparation and reporting support
* General office administration and support
* Liaising with management and external accountants as required
About You
* Degree qualified in Accounting
* Minimum 12 months to 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
* Strong working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Experience with Costar (tyre industry software) is highly regarded; training provided if not already experienced
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
* Able to work on-site in a retail environment
