Located at the world-class KCGM Operation with a +10-year mine life, this residential position is on a 7/7 (12-hour days) roster.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead a team of Process Technicians Utilities to maintain and improve performance, driving a positive workplace culture that reflects our Core Values. Coordinate maintenance priorities and liaise with Maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion.
* Coordinate and monitor training progress of shift-based Process Technicians Utilities, ensuring they possess necessary skills and knowledge for effective workstation management and safety.
* Display commitment to safety and health, seeking to eliminate or control risks associated with injury or equipment damage. Comply with site safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Participate actively in continuous OHS improvement processes, inspecting work areas for safety, equipment operation, housekeeping, and cleanliness.
* Commit to responsible environmental management, operating in accordance with our Environmental Policy and complying with site environmental policies and regulations.
Requirements
A minimum of five years working in mineral processing or related industries, with at least two years' supervisory or senior technician experience. Developed interpersonal skills enable effective communication at all levels.
Excellent time management, planning, and organisational skills, sound leadership abilities, including coaching, training, and influencing behaviour. Basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to train and transfer knowledge.
Qualifications and Certifications
Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence, Confined Space Entry Certificate, Working at Heights Certificate. Provide First Aid & National Police Clearance within 12 months.
