Disability Support Workers play a vital role in helping people with disability and/or mental health challenges to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

The Opportunity
We have an immediate opening for a Disability Support Worker to work with our clients on a permanent casual basis. Shift times are from 5PM to 7PM daily.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* At least 5 years of experience in Mental Health Disability Support Work
* Compassion for people with disability and/or mental illness
* A relevant qualification
The Role May Involve
You will be responsible for:
* Community access and recreational activities
* Personal care
* Behavioural and Mental Health Support
* Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
* Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists
* Transportation and social engagement
Essential Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
* The legal right to work in Australia
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Employee Blue Card/Working with Children Check
* Valid Australian Driver licence with reliable transport
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
