About the role
We are looking for experienced General Practitioners to provide outreach primary care services to aged care facilities, those with disabilities and the housebound elderly, across Canberra. Reporting to the Director of Medical Services, you will work alongside a team of highly qualified nurse practitioners, carers and staff, to provide high-quality primary care to those who need it most. The role offers part-time hours to work around your other work and personal commitments.
About the Company
Our client is an innovative provider of outreach primary care services. The values of the company are Excellence, Equity, Collaboration and Innovation and we have an opportunity for a General Practitioner (GP) to provide services aligned with these values. Primary outreach care has a predominant focus on providing services to patients who are unable to access usual general practice services. They include residents of aged care facilities, those with disabilities and the housebound elderly. They also offer clinical services to staff of those facilities, including workers compensation. There are significant opportunities to grow these services.
Requirements
* Unrestricted medical registration (Vocational Registration preferred).
* Car with valid driving licence and insurance.
