The Esplanade Hotel, built in ****, is a well-established family-run business in the heart of Busselton.
The hotel operates 7 days a week, serving lunch, dinner and functions with a recently renovated kitchen and updated bar and bistro area.
Qualifications:
Qualified and experienced Chefs and Cooks with a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
At least 3 years' experience working in a busy restaurant
Responsibilities:
Delegating tasks to kitchen staff.
Informing wait staff about daily specials.
Ensuring appealing plate presentation.
Checking freshness of food and discarding out-of-date items.
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Assisting the Head Chef in estimating food consumption.
Training kitchen staff to effectively manage costs, maintaining the recipe standards and cooking/preparation procedures.
Maximising the productivity of the staff while supporting them to improve their skill sets.
