Electrical Design Specialist Role
This electrical design specialist will work with the Transmissions team to create panel layouts, schematics, and related documentation for HV and EHV terminal stations and substations.
* Develop secondary designs for substations and terminal stations to a high technical standard.
* Manage project outcomes within scope constraints while maintaining high levels of technical performance.
* Conduct peer reviews as required to ensure quality and consistency.
* Lead the detail design process from concept to implementation, meeting agreed scope quality time frames.
* Identify and manage scope variations in accordance with client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant industry roles with demonstrated expertise on electrical transmission projects.
* Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia.
* Demonstrated experience with secondary design in networks above 66 kV.
* Proficiency with IEC 61850 standards.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels.
