Senior Account Manager - Labour Hire & Recruitment
Base salary of up to $120k plus super, a rewarding bonus/commission scheme, and the chance to be part of one of WA’s fastest-growing labour hire companies.
Location: Osborne Park, WA (regular site visits across Perth Metro). A well‑established and rapidly growing labour hire business is seeking a Senior Account Manager to take ownership of key client relationships and lead high‑quality, high‑volume recruitment delivery across construction and civil projects. Our major clients include Tier 1 and Tier 2 leading contractors across WA, so you’ll need the confidence and capability to operate at this level from day one. We are looking for someone with strong experience, sound judgement and the presence to step straight into a senior client‑facing role.
The Prospect
This role blends account management, workforce planning and full 360° recruitment. You will be a key contact for a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients, ensuring their workforce needs are met quickly, safely and consistently across WA. The role also functions as 2IC to the GM. When the GM is away, you will provide stability, supporting the team, maintaining service standards and keeping operations moving.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of key clients as a trusted day‑to‑day labour hire contact.
- Conduct regular site visits to build strong relationships and understand current and upcoming workforce needs.
- Resolve client and worker issues promptly and professionally.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and additional services.
Workforce Planning & Operations
- Prepare weekly rosters aligned with client requirements and award/EBA obligations.
- Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate, approved timesheets.
- Support medium‑term workforce planning to cover peaks, absences and shifting labour demands.
Senior 360° Recruitment
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for blue‑collar roles including sourcing, screening, interviewing and reference checking.
- Build and maintain strong, reliable talent pools to respond to urgent and high‑volume requests.
- Oversee onboarding, mobilisation and safety/compliance requirements (tickets, licences, medicals, inductions).
- Manage worker performance, reallocations and general wellbeing across your portfolio.
- Maintain accurate recruitment and candidate data using JobAdder (or similar).
Skills & Experience – Essential
- 5+ years’ labour hire, construction, civil or industrial recruitment experience.
- Proven history filling high‑volume, rapid‑turnaround blue‑collar roles.
- Experience managing key accounts, ideally including Tier 1/Tier 2 clients.
- Advanced level user of JobAdder or similar.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for site visits.
