Job Description:

* The position is responsible for supervising the Counsellor and Aboriginal Outreach Support Worker within our Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviour Program.

* This will be a full-time fixed term role of 38 hours per week until December 2026, with the option to work part-time for the right candidate.

* The role is based in Port Hedland, WA, and reports directly to the Principal Practitioner WA/NT.
">
">
Key Skills and Qualifications:
">
">
* A deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.
">
* Experience working with children and young people who have been impacted by trauma and those who display harmful sexual behaviours.
">
* A Master's level qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Aboriginal Studies or a related field, with clinical experience preferred.
">
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong relationships.
">
