About the Role
Country Blinds is seeking a hands-on, experienced Carpenter to join our professional team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a trade background or solid practical experience in installation work.
You'll be responsible for installing, repairing, and preparation works for our installation team. We require an individual with trade skills to carry out these tasks

* Starting Hourly rate of $34–$39, depending on experience and capability
* Company vehicle for travel to and from jobs (and home once training is complete)

* Finish your day on-site – no return to depot required

What You'll Need
* Strong experience in a trade, construction, or hands-on installation role
* Proficient with power and hand tools (drill, impact driver, grinder, etc.)
* Comfortable working on ladders and in physical roles (7–10 hour days)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A full, current driver's licence

Your Responsibilities
* Studies drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
* Order and select timbers and materials, and prepare layouts
* Cuts materials, and assembles and nails cut and shaped parts
* Erects framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures
* Nails fascia panels, sheaths roofs, and fits exterior wall cladding, as well as door and window frames
* Assembles prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
* Cutting wood joints
* May construct concrete framework
* May repair existing fittings
* May work with plastic laminates, perspex and metals
