Our client is leading the development of renewable energy projects. They are now seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including upgrades to existing Network Infrastructure and interconnections. This high-impact role will see you managing project budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and stakeholder requirements. You will be working closely with key stakeholders including NSW Government, contractors, and local communities. The successful candidate will have extensive project management experience within the energy sector, ideally with direct exposure to substations, transmission networks, and grid connection projects. You will be adept at managing large-scale, complex projects from inception through to completion. The ideal candidate will have: • Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management within the energy sector • Strong background managing substations and grid connection projects • Experience working with or for Transgrid or similar companies is preferred • Experience with 500kV infrastructure advantageous • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or related field • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent • Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and risks across complex projects • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the energy industry • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills • Ability to problem solve and deliver projects to a high standard under pressure This is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
