Windsor RSL are seeking an experienced and values-driven Senior Operations Manager to partner with the CEO as the operational second-in-charge (2IC), leading the frontline leadership team and shaping the daily experience of the members, guests and team members.

The Opportunity
As Senior Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations, translating strategy into action and ensuring the Club delivers consistently outstanding service while meeting financial, compliance and operational objectives.
You will lead and develop the Duty Manager leadership team, champion a culture of accountability and service excellence, and ensure every operational area of the Club is operating at its best.
When the CEO is not present, you will act as the senior operational authority, representing the organisation's leadership, values and standards.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Leading People & Culture
* Lead, coach and mentor Duty Managers and frontline leaders to build capability, confidence and accountability.
* Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture where people feel supported, respected and empowered.
* Develop future leaders through coaching, feedback and structured development.
Creating Exceptional Member Experiences
* Champion best-in-class service standards across all customer-facing areas of the Club.
* Ensure the members and guests enjoy a welcoming, professional and memorable experience every time they visit.
* Resolve complex customer matters with professionalism and care.
Driving Operational Excellence
* Oversee daily Club operations to ensure seamless service delivery and operational consistency.
* Implement and continuously improve operational systems, procedures and service standards.
* Act as the senior operational decision-maker on shift when required.
Building Strong Partnerships
* Maintain strong and productive relationships with external service providers and partners.
* Ensure contractors operate safely, compliantly and in alignment with the Club's operational standards.
* Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Financial & Commercial Leadership
* Support the CEO in delivering operational budgets and financial targets.
* Monitor labour performance, productivity and operational costs.
* Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, improve efficiency and support the Club's long-term sustainability.
Governance, Compliance & Safety
* Ensure all operations comply with NSW Registered Club regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Maintain strong operational governance, reporting and documentation practices.
* Champion workplace health and safety across all operational areas.
About You
You are a confident and capable operational leader who puts people first. You understand how to balance service, commercial performance and compliance while building strong, capable teams.
Most importantly, you lead with integrity. You set high standards for yourself and others, act with transparency and fairness, and build trust with members, team members and stakeholders through consistent and ethical leadership.
You will bring:
* Proven experience in senior operational leadership within hospitality, clubs, or a multi-department service environment
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, including labour and operational cost management
* The ability to coach and develop frontline leaders
* A strong understanding of NSW Registered Clubs compliance and governance requirements
* Exceptional communication, problem solving and decision-making capability
* A genuine commitment to service excellence and community-focused organisations
Required certifications include:
* RSA
* RCG
* ARCG
