Teacher - Drama at Comet Bay College, Secret Harbour. Permanent full‐time, commencing Term 3 2026. Salary $88,178 – $127,737 per annum (pro‐rated).
The Role
The successful applicant will develop and lead the Drama Learning Area for Years 7‐12, promoting the performing arts across the school, including a whole‐school musical. Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering curriculum‐aligned drama lessons for Years 7‐12.
* Supporting students' creative and critical thinking skills.
* Co‐creating curriculum with the cross‐disciplinary team.
* Organising and overseeing performances, showcases and community events.
* Participating in professional development and contributing to the school's continuous improvement agenda.
Qualifications and Experience
* Eligible teacher with a recognised teaching qualification for Years 7‐12.
* Minimum of 3 years teaching drama in an Australian secondary setting.
* Experience delivering the WA Curriculum and WACE Practical and Performing Arts courses.
* Strong commitment to inclusive teaching and ability to work with diverse learners.
