Entering an exciting new phase of growth, we're seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Manage r to join our already high achieving sales team looking after the Central Queensland area. (Emerald Based)

The primary objective of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to focus on NEW & EXISTING business, where customer support is respected and driven by maintaining relationships with existing Fluiconnecto Ryco customers to achieve and establish sales and financial targets.

In addition to analysing and establishing annual and medium-term plans for your business process and expectations, the BDM must also identify new opportunities within major mine sites, contractors and support services, farming operations and transport businesses.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

* Generating new leads and developing potential growth strategies into new residual business.
* Cold-calling potential customers and responding to incoming leads.
* Writing new business proposals, for review and presenting them to potential customers, negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts with your manager
* Nurturing current client relationships and exploring ways to advance them.
* Providing specialist advice on existing products and services, and/or willing to engage the Fluiconnecto Ryco product team for guidance/advice
* Communicate with Management to administrate control of the expenses within approved limits if required.
* Evaluate ideas and suggestions for new products, in conjunction with investigating market opportunities and recommending exploitation of economically attractive products
* Review and recommend pricing, determine discount structures to maximise gross profit for the company and the achievement of the stated target accounts.
* Ensure all claims, complaints are reported to Management and satisfactorily resolved in line with Company protocols.

ABOUT YOU

* Experience: Proven sales experience within the mining industry, ideally with mechanical knowledge of mobile equipment.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with hydraulic hose & fittings is highly desirable.
* Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Self-Motivation: A results-driven individual with a proactive approach to sales.
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
* Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is required.
