Right at Home provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our Northern Rivers team. We are currently recruiting for a Community Homecare worker to join our Northern Rivers team.
The role:
This role involves travelling between client's homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
Perform work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
Services are generally between the hours of 6am-6pm Monday to Friday
What you will need:
Australian Federal Police Clearance
Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Valid Working Rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
Smartphone with internet access
