Murwillumbah Family Doctors (previously King Street Medical) is preparing to open in the brand-new Northern Rivers Health Hub. This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Medical Admin Assistant/ Trainee Medical Receptionist to join a growing team and help shape our systems, service style, and clinic culture from day one.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our medical administrative team as a Junior Medical Admin Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. Your will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks and assisting to ensure the smooth operation of our medical office.
Responsibilities:
* Liaising with Doctors, Staff & Patients in a friendly manner.
* Performing data entry and maintaining patient records in an organised and accurate manner
* Ensuring that all medical supplies and equipment are properly stocked and maintained.
* Assisting medical staff with administrative tasks such as filing, copying and faxing documents
* Handling confidential patient information and maintaining strict patient confidentiality
* Supporting medical staff with other administrative tasks as needed
* Keeping the practice clean & tidy
Requirements:
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
* Willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements and processes
* Ability to work as part of a team & independently
