Estimator Role A well-established construction business is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team in a full-time, permanent position based in Essex. About the Job * The successful candidate will play a key role in the Pre-Construction team, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of projects. You will work both independently and collaboratively to support tendering processes, liaise with design teams, and ensure a clear understanding of project requirements. * This role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent time management skills, and a thorough knowledge of construction processes. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in similar estimating roles along with familiarity with computerised estimating systems. Responsibilities 1. Prepare cost estimates using computerized estimating systems 2. Taking off quantities from designs for costing purposes 3. Liaising closely with project teams to develop comprehensive pricing strategies for clients
