About the role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House team member to join our vibrant team at Banks Cafe' in Port Macquarie, NSW. This is a part-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced and engaging hospitality environment, providing excellent customer service and support to our guests.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
* Taking orders and providing recommendations from our menu
* Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any queries or concerns
* Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
* Assisting the kitchen team as needed to ensure the smooth running of the cafe
* Providing exceptional customer service at all times
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
* Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
* Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
