Cafe Leadership Position
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cafe. Key responsibilities include managing daily activities, planning menus based on seasonal changes, supervising staff, ensuring quality customer service, and monitoring inventory levels.
We are also looking for efficient and friendly servers to join our team. Key responsibilities include setting tables, taking reservations, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables.
1. Main Responsibilities of the Job:

* Leader: Manage and control the day-to-day operations of the cafe, plan and design menus based on seasonal changes, supervise daily operations, manage staff, ensure quality customer service, monitor inventory levels, develop and implement marketing strategies, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, manage stock, order supplies, ensure profitability of kitchen
* Server: Setting and arranging tables; taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists; recommending dishes and wines to complement food; taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff; serving food and beverages; opening bottles and pouring beverages including mixing liquor and assisting in the cellar; clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen; removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses; collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers
3. Qualification & Experience:

* Leader: Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (hospitality or business), 1 year experience in a leadership role, strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of food safety regulations, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Server: Certificate III in Hospitality (Restaurant Front of House), or equivalent qualification as assessed by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) AND at least 12 months relevant work experience OR At least 18 months' relevant work experience in Australia on a temporary visa OR At least two (2) years' relevant experience
