Digital Fundraising Lead

Drive revenue. Grow donor value. Deliver fundraising campaigns that make a real impact.

Are you an experienced digital fundraising professional who thrives on delivering high-performing appeals and supporter campaigns?

At Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania, we're looking for a Digital Fundraising Lead to drive Individual Giving growth through data‐led, conversion‐focused campaigns and supporter journeys.

This role is about fundraising outcomes—owning end‐to‐end campaign strategy and execution to increase donor acquisition, retention and lifetime value.

Part time – permanent – hybrid role (3 days in office, 1 day WFH)

Your impact

As the Digital Fundraising Lead, you will work in collaborative capacity with strategy, and own the planning and execution of digital fundraising campaigns and appeals—including major appeals such as Tax and Christmas.

You'll focus on building a high‐performing Individual Giving program that:

* Acquires new donors
* Increases average gift value
* Grows overall supporter lifetime value

This is a hands‐on role strongly leaning into execution—ensuring every campaign, email journey and donation pathway is optimised for conversion, engagement and revenue growth.

What you'll be doing

* Lead end‐to‐end development and delivery of fundraising campaigns and appeals with clear revenue targets
* Develop compelling cases for support and strong fundraising propositions
* Own campaign planning, timelines, stakeholder coordination and execution
* Monitor campaign performance in real time and optimise for revenue outcomes
* Deliver post‐campaign analysis and continuous improvement actions

Individual Giving & Digital Journeys

* Build and optimise email (EDM) journeys to improve acquisition, conversion and retention
* Design and optimise landing pages and donation pathways
* Implement A/B testing and data‐led optimisation strategies
* Strengthen end‐to‐end supporter journeys across digital channels

Performance & Growth

* Review campaign performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue
* Improve key metrics including open rates, click‐through rates, conversion and revenue per user
* Contribute to growth in donor retention, average gift value and total Individual Giving revenue
* Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver high‐performing digital fundraising activity

Retention & Lifetime Value

* Collaborate on strategies to improve donor retention, repeat giving and long‐term supporter value
* Design and optimise segmented supporter journeys to deepen engagement and reduce attrition
* Identify and execute opportunities for donor upgrades, regular giving conversion and reactivation
* Use data and insights to continuously test, refine and improve retention performance

Who are you?

You understand what drives people to give, how to structure a compelling appeal, and how to optimise digital channels to maximise revenue.

You're data‐driven and motivated by measurable impact.

Ideally, you'll have

* Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Demonstrated experience delivering successful digital fundraising campaigns and appeals
* Experience with email marketing platforms and digital fundraising journeys
* Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
* Strong analytical skills and confidence interpreting campaign data
* Experience in not‐for‐profit fundraising is essential

Benefits

* Access generous benefits including salary packaging, additional leave wellbeing days per year, and access to Sonder, our world‐class EAP with nurse‐on‐call and retail discounts
* Hybrid working environment
* Join a collaborative, values‐led and purpose‐driven team
