Job Title: Before and After School Care Worker
Location: Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia
Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Before and After School Care Workers in Rockhampton. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for children before and after school hours. Your duties will include supervising activities, assisting coordinator, facilitating games and crafts, and ensuring the well-being of all children in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise children before and after school hours
* Facilitate age-appropriate activities and games
* Assist children with homework and academic tasks
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
* Maintain a clean and organized environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children preferred
* Studying towards or Qualified in Early Childhood or Education highly favourable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Valid Employee Working with Children Check (Blue Card) required
Pay Rate: Starting from $35 per hour, with potential for increases based on experience and qualifications.
