The Opportunity
We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker in Newcastle.
Responsibilities:
* Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
* Providing support with hygiene and personal complex care
* Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
* Assisting with medication compliance, including the dispensation of prescription medication
* Meal assistance, including meal preparation
Shifts Available:
* Sundays - 33-53pm
* Fridays fortnight - 6 pm - 8 am (inactive overnight)
* Thursdays fortnightly - 73-2 pm
* Other shifts available as required based on changing rostering demands
To Be Successful:
* A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
* Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
* At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
* NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
