About the role
Full-time Plumber (gasfitter desirable) wanted for immediate start. An excellent opportunity to join the team at KJO PLUMBING & GAS PTY LTD in the vibrant town of Port Douglas, Queensland. As a qualified and experienced plumber, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing plumbing and gas systems for our residential and commercial customers.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas systems, including hot water systems, toilets, taps, drainage, and more
* Install new plumbing and gas fixtures and appliances
* Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Support the team and contribute to the overall success of the business
* Work/life balance encouraged
* Work vehicle included for the right candidate
What we're looking for
* Fully qualified plumber with a current plumbing and gasfitting licence
* Current plumbing licence required, with gasfitting licence being desirable but not essential
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation (MR license desirable)
