We are a well‐established boutique residential builder delivering high‐quality homes, renovations and restorations across Melbourne's inner suburbs. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly experienced, trade‐qualified lead carpenter to join our team on a full‐time permanent, or subcontract basis, under the Building and Construction General On‐site Award (MA000020).
SALARY & EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
* $110,000 – $140,000
* Fulltime PAYG employment / subcontract
* Paid in accordance with MA000020 (classification based on experience)
* Overtime and penalty rates paid where applicable

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Supervision of on‐site crew and subcontractors
* Extensive residential carpentry experience (10–15+ years preferred)
* Strong competence across all construction stages
* Ability to read architectural and structural drawings
* High attention to detail and finish quality
* Ability to meet project timelines
* Strong problem‐solving ability
* Effective teamwork and communication
* Commitment to safe, tidy worksites
* Sound knowledge of domestic building practices
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
* Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Experience on high‐end residential projects
* Own personal carpentry hand tools
* Current driver licence and reliable transport
* Ability to travel to inner‐Melbourne sites
* Legal right to work in Australia
