The RoleDue to ongoing growth and internal staff developments, we are looking for a ‘pro’ in relationship management and project estimation to build and add value to our key customer partnerships. Key responsibilities of the role will include:• Produce quote estimates and tenders in a timely manner to meet submission and/or client deadlines.• Create a list of required materials and determine quantities to complete the client's project.• Co-ordinate labour resources, and the procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications.• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.• Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing and market insights.• Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.• Supervise and develop strong relationships with your team to deliver business and client expectations.
What will make you stand outA candidate who can demonstrate their similar estimation and leadership experience, an understanding of the challenges of working in a dynamic and fast-growing business, and the following attributes:• Experience in the electrical installation industry, preferably in an estimating capacity.• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.• Collaborative, team-based approach to working.• Innovative and open thinking, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.• Self-motivated with exceptional time management.
Who are you?• A tertiary qualification within electrical (or a related) fields would be welcomed.• Ideally you have experience estimating large projects.• You have strong knowledge of OH&S and put the safety of your team first.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.• Experience with SimPRO would be advantageous.
