We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker to contribute to the maintenance team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will be accountable for maintaining mechanical equipment and associated fixed plant infrastructure to maximize availability in a sustainable cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out maintenance tasks in the processing plant and underground de-watering areas as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
* Maintain Crushers, Conveyor Systems, Pumps, Pipe Work, Ball Mill, Concentrators, Vibrating Screens & Feeders, Cranes & Hoists, Cyclones, and all associated tanks, launders, and steelworks.
* Perform welding, fabrication, painting, grinding, and fitting tasks.
* Assist with the installation of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment.
* Ensure effective activities through cross-functional liaison and teamwork in accordance with professional standards established by the Maintenance team.
* Coordinate and execute shutdowns efficiently.
About You
As a successful candidate, you will possess:
* A current Australian Recognized Trade Certificate (Boilermaker/Welder/Fabricator).
* Experience in maintaining mineral processing or heavy industrial plants preferably within the gold industry.
* The ability to work in environments with noise, dust, elevated work areas, confined spaces, temperature extremes, water, and slurry.
* Computer literacy and proficiency with SAP.
* A valid WA Drivers License.
* The ability to obtain a new National Police Clearance.
* Existing and ongoing permanent working rights in Australia.
