Arborist Assistant Role


This is a full-time permanent position that involves working with trees and parks. As an Arborist Assistant, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining the health, safety, and beauty of our urban forest.




Key Responsibilities

* Tree Care:

* You will assist in tree planting, pruning, removals, watering, and pest control across Council parks and open spaces.

* Your tasks may include seasonal maintenance programs to ensure public spaces are safe and well-maintained.





Safety Procedures

You must operate arboriculture equipment safely including chainsaws chippers stump grinders elevated work platforms EWP complete pre start checks report faults follow Safe Work Method Statements to ensure efficient job completion
