Our client is a leading Australian-based alternative asset management firm managing over $3.2 billion, seeking a Fund Operations Analyst to join their growing team.
As a Fund Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of fund valuations, reporting, and operational processes across a diverse range of investment strategies.
Working closely with global investment partners, fund service providers and internal teams, this position offers a rewarding career path with opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular valuations of investment funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with valuation policies.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, NAV calculations, and coordinate with fund administrators.
- Support daily and weekly NAV oversight, including cash flows, distributions, capital calls, and fee accruals.
- Assist with year end processes, including audits and reviews of a range of funds across different strategies.
Skills & Experience Required
- 2+ years' experience in a fund registry, custodian, or asset management operations role.
- Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with fund administration or valuation software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
