About the Role
As a Services Engineer, you will ensure that services-related activities are planned, organised and delivered using appropriate construction methodology and resource allocation, resulting in project execution within budget and program.
Project intervention and claims assistance may be required to guarantee satisfactory project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the overall services delivery of the project, meeting all client expectations on time or ahead of schedule.
* Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.
* Exercise professional judgement in resolving engineering issues, such as construction methods, design, engineering procedures, etc.
* Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates, taking effective remedial action as required.
* Financial management: Ensure strong contract, commercial and financial risk management, accurate forecasting of both costs and revenue, take corrective action in line with authority and reporting frameworks and maximise the profit margin for the project.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor of Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalent
* 2 years' experience in managing multiple services disciplines on large complex construction sites
* Contemporary practices in design and construction methodology
* Client relationship and stakeholder management experience
* Quantitative and qualitative safety, environment and quality risk assessment
