The Position
* Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school canteen, ensuring efficient workflows and effective staff management
* Coordinate and prepare online orders
* Manage stock control, inventory monitoring, and ordering
* Operate and oversee Point of Sale (POS) systems
* Engage professionally and positively with students, staff, and parents
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all food service and preparation areas
* Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and allergen management requirements
* Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
* Maintain the service and dining areas to consistently high presentation standards
The Person
* Previous experience in a similar role (5 years' experience is desirable)
* A passion for food and delivering exceptional customer service
* Excellent communication skills and confidence in leading a team
* Strong knowledge of Food safety and allergen management
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Hold a Blue Card, or ability to obtain one
* Previous experience in hospitality supervision
* Strong barista skills and a passion for quality coffee
