Field Officer Role
This role involves supporting and guiding apprentices and trainees through their journey, from their first day on the job to successful completion of their training. You will work closely with host employers to ensure each placement adds real value and leads to long-term success.
About This Opportunity

* Location: Townsville
Responsibilities
1. Build and manage a caseload of apprentices and trainees
2. Support host employers with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
3. Provide high-quality mentoring and support to apprentices and trainees, especially during probation periods
4. Conduct workplace visits, WHS inductions, and safety checks
5. Liaise with RTOs and monitor training plans to ensure progress and compliance
6. Identify new host employers and opportunities for placements
7. Develop our presence and brand in the community by selling our GTO services
8. Manage documentation including contracts, agreements, and employment records
Requirements
* A confident communicator, equally comfortable speaking with apprentices and CEOs
* Highly organized, with great time management and attention to detail
* Skilled at building strong, positive relationships with stakeholders
* Able to adapt and think on their feet in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
* Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to making a difference
