I'm currently looking for a Information & Governance Administrator on a initial 6 month contract that will look to move Permanent.
The Information and Governance Administrator will provide end-to-end administration support to the IT & Governance Team. This will include document control activities, administration support to governance activities including audits, and project administration support in the planning, implementation, and review and ongoing monitoring of Governance and continuous improvement projects.
At times, the incumbent may be required to carry out duties that are within their skills, training and competence, and which may be incidental or peripheral to the substantive position, as directed by the manager.
Responsibilities:
Information Management and Document Control:
* Manage and maintain the document control system to ensure accurate filing, retrieval, and controlled distribution of documents
* Ensure controlled documentation is aligned with relevant style guides
* Manage controlled document revision and approval processes
* Issue communication notices to relevant employees of released documents and their location
* Implement and maintain document control procedures and guidelines
* Maintain accurate filing of legal documents and manage records for delegations of authority
* Provide guidance to employees on document control processes and best practices.
* Support and maintain a single source of truth. This includes identifying and eliminating duplication, promoting standardised information management practices, and ensuring alignment with information governance standards.
* Support document destruction process
Governance:
* Support Risk management and Compliance processes
* Support internal audit activities to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations as well as internal governance requirements
* Support external audit activities

* Follow up on non-conformance reports and corrective actions ensuring continuous improvement of systems and procedures
* Participate in the development and implementation of quality control plans and procedures
Project Administration:
* Provide administrative support to various projects, including data entry, record-keeping, and report generation
* Coordinate and schedule project meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as required
* Contribute to the implementation of procedures and processes and assist with the delivery of training
