What Will You Do
We have a 12-month full-time maternity leave contract available for an immediate start for a proactive, flexible, and collaborative Document Controller to join our supportive Vinidex Toowoomba team.
In this busy role, you will work closely with project coordinators, quality, operations, logistics, and fabrication teams to provide and store accurate documentation, records, and certification for our Gas customers.
* Ensure all Natural Gas documentation has been submitted to the customers within the agreed KPI timeframes.
* Provide backup support for the Toowoomba Fabrication team, including close-out and dispatching of work orders.
* Communicate with suppliers on documentation for products, purchased and brought into the Brisbane warehouse.
* Coordinate with the project team and internal stakeholders to ensure submission of relevant documentation.
* Maintain accurate records of documentation and securely store documentation.
* Assist with follow-up from customers for pipe pressure certificates.
* Ensure drawings are reviewed in a timely manner and entered into the Fabrication system.
* Issue and manage all drawings with BIM 360.
About You
* Experience working in administration roles or as a document controller in any industry; manufacturing industry preferred but not essential.
* Computer literate with solid Microsoft Office skills and proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and Aconex, BIM 360 (advantageous).
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders including customers.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a collaborative, positive, resilient attitude, and a desire to contribute to a fun team environment.
* Excellent time management and coordination skills, with a sense of urgency, results focus, high attention to detail, accuracy, and an analytical mindset.
* A can-do attitude, flexibility, adaptability, and quick learner who can hit the ground running.
* A monthly day trip to Coopers Plains in Brisbane is required as part of this role.
