The Opportunity
This is a permanent, full-time role based at Holsworthy Barracks. Progress your career within this secure role while developing your experience within the Defence industry. This highly rewarding role will see you providing essential tailoring services to Defence personnel.
Key duties will include:
* Perform Seamsperson tasks including sewing of rank badges, medals and insignias
* Perform basic clothing alterations such as hemming
* Perform tailoring measurements of customers
* Help clients & customers by assisting with outfitting and kitting of clothing
* Ensuring accurate work order records are kept
* General clothing stores duties including ensuring clothing store inventory records are accurate
To be considered for the role you will have:
* Must be an Australian Citizen
* Experience in measuring and fitting clothing items
* Experience in altering clothing items
* Experience in clothing store operations
* Experience in scheduling workloads and meeting production deadlines
* Must have a customer service focused approach to all interactions
* Confident use of basic MS Office suite for record keeping
