Job Description
* Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people so they have a safe and beautiful place to live
* Meal Preparation and Shopping: Helping our customers with meal preparation and shopping
* Social Support and Transport: Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
* Personal Care: Getting them up, showered and dressed for the day, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals
* Respite and Emotional Support: Providing respite and emotional support
* Social Support and Transport to Appointments: Social support and transport to appointments
* Complex Care: Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

What We Look For In A Care Worker
* Certification: Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability or Nursing
* Experience: Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
* Availability: You're available to work at least 3 days - Monday - Friday. No night or weekend work here.
* Communication Skills: You don't sweat the small stuff; sometimes your customer will be having a bad day or traffic delays you. You know not to take this personally and to shake it off before your next customer.
