About the role
Viterra is seeking a Field Services Officer to work with the Inventory Management group to ensure that the western region operational sites are supported and meet company expectations for quality, food safety and inventory management. As a Field Services Officer, you will have a passion for grain classification, food safety and supporting operations.
The role has the flexibility to be based at Wudinna or across the upper Eyre Peninsula.
Duties
o Visit sites to provide inventory, quality and food safety advice and support
o Lead and conduct monitoring programs at site
o Audit Viterra facilities against food safety and quality standards
o Conduct investigations, report on findings and close out corrective actions
o Complete inventory clearances and weigh overs
o Train and support operational staff and classification trainers on classification standards, procedures and equipment
o Participate in development and implementation of classification procedures, documentation, training and technologies
o Support other members of the Field Services team
About you
o Minimum of 2 years Grain Commodity Classification and operational experience in the grain handling industry
o Certificate 4 Training and Assessment
o Knowledge of ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems is desirable
o Internal audit experience would be highly regarded
o Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
o Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and proactive
