Key Responsibilities:
* Manage financial operations across all group entities
* Process and review financial transactions, including accruals and journal entries
* Manage general ledger, month-end close, and inter-company reconciliations
* Maintain a fixed assets register and process monthly depreciation journals
* Oversee payroll processing, superannuation, and related reporting
* Prepare and lodge monthly/quarterly BAS, payroll tax, and annual FBT returns
* Support tax compliance (GST, FBT, Income Tax) and financial audits
* Respond to information requests from business units and management
* Continuously review and improve financial processes and reporting
* Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees from a financial compliance perspective
The Ideal Candidate:
* A proactive finance professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles
* Proven ability to take ownership of key financial operations
* Experience in BAS preparation, general accounting, and payroll
* Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level)
* Strong working knowledge of financial statements and reconciliations
* Familiarity with Australian Accounting Standards
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
