Job Title: Executive Chef
Regis Redlynch, a leading residential aged care home, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef who can lead our kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals that meet the diverse needs of our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing food safety, WHS, and quality, as well as implementing effective stock control and ordering systems. They will also work closely with our Chef Manager to develop menus and ensure resident dietary management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cookery, with experience in menu planning, food cost management, and kitchen operations. They will be able to lead and motivate their team, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certification in Commercial Cookery (Cert III/IV)
* Experience in aged care or similar settings
* Understanding of special dietary needs
* Strong leadership and communication skills
