Senior Commercial Manager
About the Role:
This is a key leadership position within our project management environment, responsible for overseeing commercial functions and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract administration, dispute resolution, and project management. They will be required to interpret tenders, apply commercial and contractual agreements, and manage minor and major contract disputes as delegated by senior management.
Key responsibilities include preparing subcontract terms and conditions, setting up administrative procedures on-site and off-site with accounting, and providing support to project managers and contract administrators in commercial matters such as claims and contractual issues.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess 10 years of experience as a Senior Commercial Manager/Director, preferably gained in construction, engineering, or associated projects. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law, Commerce, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Business, or other related disciplines is also essential.
