THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced and driven Category Buyer to join our Head Office. Reporting to senior leadership, this role plays a key part in shaping category strategy, managing supplier partnerships, and driving commercial growth through effective range, pricing, and promotional initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and implement effective category plans to drive commercial performance.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business objectives.
* Review and analyse category performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Partner with internal teams to deliver marketing and promotional initiatives.
* Oversee inventory levels to ensure consistent product availability
* Support product development and category growth initiatives
* Stay informed on market trends
ABOUT YOU
* 3–5 years' experience in a Buyer or Category Management role, ideally within retail or trade-related industries
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with success in building long-term supplier partnerships
* Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills and strong data interpretation abilities
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
