* High level communicationand interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflictresolution skills.
* Demonstratedunderstanding of the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014, Medicinesand Poisons Regulations 2016 and Health Practitioner RegulationNational Law Act 2010.
* Experience in theapplication of clinical governance principles includingcontinuous quality improvement principles, managing change,clinical risk management and accreditationprocesses.
* Computer literacy and ability to utilise information systems.
Position Profile:
As part of the multidisciplinary team and incollaboration with Senior Nurses and the Regional Nurse Educator;plans, implements and evaluates education and training relevant tothe clinical practice of the nursing cohort at ward or unit level.Is responsible for the orientation and development support of allnursing staff (including assistants in nursing), and in particularnewly qualified and junior nurses. Provides support and clinicalfacilitation for undergraduate and postgraduate nurses in line witheducation institution agreements.
