Driller's Assistant Traineeship
We are seeking a motivated and physically capable individual to join our drilling team as a Driller's Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking to start a career in the mining industry.
This role involves assisting drillers with various tasks, including daily pre-start equipment checks, routine rig/machine/equipment/tool maintenance and cleaning, and manual handling of drill rods, sample bags, core trays, etc. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be willing to undertake training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist drillers with daily pre-start equipment checks
* Conduct routine rig/machine/equipment/tool maintenance and cleaning
* Manual handling of drill rods, sample bags, core trays, etc.
Requirements:
* Manual C Class Unrestricted Licence with no restrictions
* Currently reside in or relocate to Western Australia
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
* Valid White Card
* Clean Police Record from the last 3 months
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
