Designed to support student wellbeing, connection, and success, the building offers an engaging, service-led residential experience. You'll be joining a passionate, people-focused onsite team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes for our residents.
About the role:
As the Assistant Community Manager, you'll be at the heart of this vibrant student community, helping bring an exceptional living experience to life. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you'll balance people leadership, resident experience, and day-to-day operational and financial support.
Working closely with the Community Manager, you'll help keep the site running smoothly, support and motivate the team, and ensure residents feel welcomed, supported, and connected.

Key responsibilities:
* Support the Community Manager in overseeing daily site operations
* Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision to the front-line, resident services team members
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, managing enquiries, issues, and escalations professionally
* Support our resident lifecycle processes (check-ins, renewals, departures)
* Assist with financial administration, including rent processing, reconciliations, budget oversight, and reporting
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety, policy, and housing standards
* Foster a positive, inclusive community culture aligned with Greystar values
About you:
You're a people-focused professional who thrives in vibrant, community-driven environments. You enjoy being on site, taking ownership, and supporting both team and resident outcomes. With prior experience supporting students or residents, you understand what great service looks like and how to deliver it. You're organised, confident under pressure, and always focused on creating a positive experience for everyone.
To be successful, you'll need:
* Prior management or supervisory experience
* Solid Excel skills
* Practical financial administrative experience (reconciliations, budgets, reporting)
* Hold a valid government I.D and able to obtain a required background checks (National Criminal History)
* Real estate license would be preferred, but not required
